The Arabia sank twice in Tobermory! The first time was in 1883, when she ran aground near Flowerpot Island. After being repaired, the ship spent another year in service before sinking again in 1884. The wreck still has much of its hardware in place, such as pulleys, and divers can swim over the masts, which have fallen and lay across the deck. This wreck sits in 105 feet of water, and should be visited by advanced divers only.
