From shallow sloping reefs to epic drop-offs on the edge of the continental shelf, Utila has diving for all types of divers. Utila is popular with student divers from Open Water through to Instructor level and also features enough variety to keep certified divers happy. Of course, Utila is most well-known as one of the best places in the world to see the giants of the sea - Whale Sharks. During the Whale Shark seasons (March-April & August-September) the chances of snorkeling with one of the world's biggest fish are outstanding.
