Definition:

A type of marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusk. Commonly referred to as Sea Slugs (of which they are one type), Nudibranchs are soft bodied and have no shells. There are over 3000 varieties and they're known for their vibrant colors and stunning markings.

The name Nudibranch derives from the Latin nudus (naked) and the Greek brankhia (gills).
