The Amazing 8

One of my favorite pieces of dive gear costs about $1. Here in Mexico, we call it an ocho because it looks like the number 8, but it is also known as a snorkel keeper. This little piece of silicon (or rubber) consists of two closed loops connected by a thin strip of silicon. While ochos are extremely simple, they have a variety of uses.
