Favorite Dive Destination - Round 8: Rest of the World

Sunday June 15, 2008

It's time for the final round of our competition to find the About readers' favorite dive destination. So far we've covered South-East Asia, Central America & Mexico, North America, Oceania, The Caribbean, Europe, and Africa. So, we've covered most of the diving world - but of course there are a few places that don't fit neatly into one of these categories and one that does but got left out along the way.

This week we'll be voting for the best of the rest of the world (plus one more from the Caribbean). This round is truly the most diverse and features nominees such as tropical Okinawa in Japan and the Maldives in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the icy extremes of Siberia's Lake Baikal and Antarctica, the wild and untamed Galapagos Islands, and even one place that was unintentionally overlooked in the Caribbean, the Lesser Antilles.

Who will join the winners from the other rounds in next week's final? Only you can decide - vote on the poll, tell us your favorite in the forum. Remember, all other polls are still open until next week when we decide once and for all which is the About readers' favorite dive destination.

Ecuador, Galapagos, Genovesa Island
