Hawksbill Turtle

Ever since a particularly memorable dive in Honduras when I swam with a baby Hawksbill Turtle for about 30 minutes they've become one of my favorite marine creatures. I suspect I'm not the only diver out there with such love for our reptilian friends. Stop by the forum and tell us all about your memorable Hawksbill experiences...

Did you know that Hawksbill Turtles almost exclusively feast on sponges and are critically endangered? Learn even more facts with our Hawksbill Turtle profile.

When I first met a hawksbill turtle I was surprised they weren’t afraid for humans while underwater. I totally didn’t expect that.
