Skill of the Week: Regulator Recovery

Friday April 4, 2008
Regulator Recovery

The next skill in our ongoing series is a skill that's taught right at the start of the Open Water course - Regulator Recovery.

What do you do if your regulator is accidentally knocked from your mouth? You stay calm and relaxed and recover it of course. With this how-to guide and video demonstration you'll see how easy it is to recovery a lost regulator with one of two simple methods.

If you're still not sure or want to ask anything else about skills stop by our forum where you'll find me and plenty of other dive professionals who are more than happy to help you out.

This is probably the basic skill that I use the most. I tend to follow people, so my reg gets knocked out of my mouth every so often.

This is easy!
